Chambray Everyday

I was at a bridal shower a few weeks ago, and the groom had been asked 20 questions prior to the event, and the bride had to guess how he had answered them. One of the questions was, “If you could throw out one item in Francesca’s closet, what would it be?” The question got me thinking: Every girl has that article of clothing in her closet that her significant other would get rid of, if he had the chance. Jumpsuits are that piece for me. When I wear one, I feel effortlessly cool and put together. And then Andrew makes a comment about my “pantsuit,” or in the case of the one pictured here, my “smock.” He just doesn’t get the onesie trend, so when I wear one, it’s for something other than date night. This particular jumpsuit combines a few of my favorite things right now – a sexy cutout detail that balances out a wide-legged silhouette, and a tie front. In a versatile chambray, this piece is my new go-to for everything from said bridal shower to girls night out.
