Coffee Talk

The post-Super Bowl struggle was real for me yesterday after celebrating my home city’s win a little too hard on Sunday night. So with that in mind, here’s Monday’s coffee talk, on a Tuesday!

After reading about Leslie of cupcakes and cashmere‘s new Sunday gnocchi tradition, I’m telling Andrew that we need to copy it. For our first Christmas as a couple (almost SEVEN years ago!), I gifted Andrew a cooking class at a little studio in the West Village where we learned to make our own gnocchi – it was such a fun experience, and gnocchi always reminds me of that special day. This recipe looks molto bene!

Shopbop just added tons of new items to its sale section, here’s what I have my eye on:

I saw the trailer for Netflix’s upcoming When We First Met last week, and I honestly can’t wait to stream it when it becomes available on Friday, just in time for Valentine’s Day. This rom-com starring Adam DeVine looks a little silly but also laugh out loud funny – which is usually what I’m looking for on Friday nights at home with Andrew.

I’m currently in the middle of a major closet purge. In The Curated Closetstyle writer Anuschka Rees presents a fascinatingly strategic approach to identifying, refining, and expressing personal style and building the ideal wardrobe to match it, with style and shopping strategies that women can use every day. Stay tuned for the results!
