I’m at my most comfortable when dressed down in a simple outfit, typically involving cutoffs and a solid colored tank or t-shirt. As I’m sure you’re aware, probably the biggest sale event of the year is going on right now – the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. My strategy when shopping events like this is not to look for things that I may only wear once or twice just because they’re on sale, but rather to stock up on basics and essentials that I will wear every day. It may seem silly, but this under $20 tee is my favorite sale purchase that I’ve made this year. My mom once told me that you can never have too many white t-shirts or black pumps, and as usual, she was right. I’m always drawn to white tops because of their versatility. I love the cutout/choker detail of this one, and the super soft fabric (FYI, I bought in a medium because I prefer things to be a bit over-sized). The #nsale is still going on through Sunday, so there’s time to make a few last-minute purchases – and a lot of the goods that sold out early in the sale have been restocked. I’m rounding up my favorite basics from the sale for your shopping pleasure. Enjoy!
