When asked to describe my sense of style, I’d probably say that I err on the side of boho-chic. After spending my entire young life wearing uniforms at private schools on the Main Line of Philadelphia, I’ve spent my adult life rebelling against all that can be identified as “preppy.” But prep is ingrained somewhere deep in my nature, and I sometimes choose to embrace navy blue, button downs, and smoking slippers. And there’s no better place to show off my preppier side than out to dinner on the island of Palm Beach (home to Stubbs & Wootton and Lilly Pulitzer). Andrew and I spent our Saturday date night in Palm Beach over the weekend, enjoying drinks at Nick and Johnnie’s before indulging in a small plates feast at our favorite local restaurant, Buccan. Despite purchasing these navy blue kick flare crops as work wear, they’ve actually become my new favorite article of clothing. I love how the cropped length shows off fun shoes, like these lace-up heels (which add a little bit of edge to the outfit), and I’m thinking of investing in a few more colors (I love the white, blush, and army green – and all are currently on sale with code NEWCLOTHES). Paired with a white silk cami (this one is only $30 and comes in a variety of different colors), this was, for me, a perfect, simple date night outfit.
